Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is an Canadian Actress best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' que te enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had success in both fields. She is a native of Montreal, but grew up studying in Texas. Her love of performing has been with her since the age of a child. In her early years she started to train in diverse forms of dance. As she reached the age of 15 old, she was taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008, when she took part in Season 2 of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. She was in 2010 as the receptionist in Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action film. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was praised by The Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
