Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy is a energetic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised by her outstanding contribution in American television. The show has been highly praised for her exceptional performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character over a period of six years. Hennessy has also demonstrated her acting prowess in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her career in 1988along with her sister, as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was Dr. Marie Lazarus. Later that same year she was promoted to an assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Three seasons of her role was a hit with the public. In 1996, she left the show. Parker was a part of series and films such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and RED Fried Tomatoes, for which she was awarded an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker has also been awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in the play Proof.
