Charissa is an American Sportscaster born on 5th May, 1982. ESPN analyst that was appointed as co-host of SportsNation in 2012. She hosted the ABC program Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born in Seattle Washington. She was the youngest child of three. She knew at a young age that she wanted to become a journalist. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School in Kenmore Washington. Thompson was admitted to California to attend community college and obtain California residency. Later, she transferred into University of California Santa Barbara. University of California Santa Barbara in 2004, where she earned a B.A. Law and Society, in 2004. Thompson explained that, while Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she was not studying in Washington State. Thompson, who is a former sports broadcaster for Sports Illustrated, received an email requesting her body painted and make an appearance in an Swimsuit edition.
